HOW TO DO AN AT-HOME PEDICURE

We're lovers of the outdoors, and flip-flop season will soon be upon us (hurrah!). But we're aware that gnarled-up, winter feet might not be looking their best right now. So, in spirit of National Feet Week, we're here to help you get your tootsies back to their glorious best with our step-by-step guide... How to do an at-home pedicure.

PEDICURE STEP 1: SOAK

Get your feet soaked and softened! A few pumps of Fig & Vanilla Body Wash into a bowl of warm water is a great first step. Don't expect lots of bubbles - the washes are free from SLS, parabens, MI and MCI.

PEDICURE STEP 2: SCRUB

We're the proud stockists of many types of body scrubs. Totally natural exfoliants and microbead free!

Select from sumptuous Gold & Caviar Body Polish, tropical Coconut & Lychee Creamy Body Buff - or, our pick for a pedi - the Bladderwrack & Peppermint Salt & Oil Body Scrub. Once feet have soaked, massage the salt and oil scrub in to the feet, right up to the knee to buff away dead skin cells and nourish with naturally antibacterial oils. Once skin has been thoroughly sloughed, rinse away the salts and pat dry.

PEDICURE STEP 3: WRAP

The ultimate foot-pamper - add in an indulgent wrap. The Cankle Wraphas been created to help relieve fluid retention and flush out toxins from the leg, calf and ankle area. Made with lots of pure laminaria seaweed. Simply mix the dry powder into a paste with a little water, slather on the legs, ankles and feet, and wrap in cling film. Leave for 20 minutes to see the best results.

PEDICURE STEP 4: RELAX!

Whilst waiting for the Cankle Wrap to do its thing, take 20 minutes and read a book. We're in love with the novel from Dawn O'Porter, The Cows, which looks at three women's struggle through the noise of every day life.

After 20 minutes, wash the wrap off the skin with warm water and a flannel. Pat dry.

PEDICURE STEP 5: CUTICLES

We're really proud to say that multi-functionality is at the forefront of our minds when it comes to product development. One of our 'wow' products in the Damascene Melting Gel Cleanser.  Naturally anti-bacterial, soothing and hydrating, massage a little of the cleansing gel into cuticles, gently working into the skin. This will transform into a warm oil to help shift tough cuticle skin. Rinse away with warm water and pat dry.

PEDICURE STEP 6: SOLE FOOD

The grand finale! Massage a dollop of our Sole Food Foot Nutrition into feet, ankles and legs. Thick and nourishing. With ho wood, camelina seed oil, aloe vera and pomegranate – this product acts as an inflammatory to soothe easily irritated or itchy skin and help with cracked or dried heels. With anti-bacterial and anti-fungal essential oils to leave feet clean and refreshed.
